Mimi
Mimi Barreras is a lifetime artist and art instructor. Her career began as a toddler with newspapers spread across the den covered with large pieces of paper, paint pots, and brushes, which continues to this day, except that now Mimi is surrounded by her own children, pets, and normal daily chaos. Mimi's favorite subjects are portraits, florals, and various animals, all inspired by her Texas country landscape and lifestyle. Mimi also has taught art in the classroom and privately for 30+ years, which she enjoys equally as much as wielding the paintbrush herself. Mimi has a BFA in Art Education from Baylor University. She has been married to her very art tolerant husband for 30+ years and is daily surrounded by her own multitude of children.
